Alex//3oo1 Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 New version of chameleon based booter includes these new abilities: GraphicsEnabler now supports Radeon hd 2/3 series too, but only for Leopard GraphicsEnabler now set up bin_image property for all radeon hd cards found in system, should fix 100% fan speed issue. You can tell GraphicsEnabler(GE) to use custom version of bios(for overcloking/changing fan speed/ etc). Use option -useatirom, and GE will look for bios files in /Extra folder (from root and boot partitions, Extra from root partition has more priority). Place bios files to Extra folder and rename them to this format – ati_XXXX_YYYY.rom, where XXXX – devid, and YYYY – vendor-id, for example rom file for 4850 should be named – ati_9442_1002.rom. 3rd party sm_cpu_type patch added (well, doesnt work for me anyway) and 3d party patch to fix hibernation. Astaga Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 Spero di non andare fuori thread, ma per conoscere meglio il nostro hack, qual'è il vantaggio di usare pcefiv10.3 oppure pcefiv10.4 invece di lasciare tale e quale chameleon Chameleon-2.0-RC3-r658. EDIT: leggo ora che per riconoscere la CPU bisogna aggiungere il flag -pci0 ! domani provo ora sono fuori casa.......oppure che la nuova versione ricompilata con pci0 di default invece del pci1 originale(e non serve aggiungere il flag -pci0)! EDIT2: per il riconoscimento della Cpu, bisogna editare l'smbios.plist aggiungete le stringhe: <key>SMcputype</key> <string>1281</string> e questi sono i proci supportati 1281 - Quad-Core Intel Xeon 769 - Intel Core 2 Duo 257 - Intel Core 2 Solo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

BarboneNet Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 e siamo a 10.5 ......non serve piu la stringa nel SMbios per il riconoscimento CPU! e il riconoscimento del PCI ROOT è automatizzato (per usare il GraphicsEnabler e EthernetEnabler piu facilmente).
