I was able to successfully install Snow Leopard 10.6 retail to my hard drive on an MBR partition. If I try to boot off that partition OSX loads up fine (no KP) but I can't use the keyboard or the touchpad. If I boot from the GA-EP45-DS3L-SL v1.4 CD the keyboard and touchpad work just fine.

I tried installing the Voodoo2PS2 package but that didn't help. I also refreshed the cache with no luck in getting the keyboard/touchpad fixed. Any suggestions?

Where did you install the VoodooPS2contorller? I have found that it will not work for me when installed in /Extra/Extensions. However, installed in a kext cache in /Extra/Extensions.mkext it works just fine.
