julixxxx Posted October 2, 2009 Share Posted October 2, 2009 Hey guys/girls, just installed snow leopard native on my machine everythings great except every time i try to install an app from a package im getting KP. Always during "optimizing system performance," read somewhere that this is when the installer writes to the registry or whatever they call it mac style but hoping you could shed some light on this? my system: e8400 8600gt XFX 680i LT sli thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

julixxxx Posted October 6, 2009 Author Share Posted October 6, 2009 i installed sl on a seperate partition from a kalyway install but that turned out not to be the problem. instead i turned off speedstep (even though i had the intelenhancedspeedstep.kext installed) and everything turned out fine could also be because i ran the sl 10.6.1 update separately using system update but now everything installs nicely Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
