I am having the hardest time picking out a motherboard and cpu to start with. I know there are about a hundred to pick from...and was hoping to search the boards for the most recent posts and why one board is better than another. I want to build a machine for less than $1500, or even better under $1000. I will be setting it up to bootcamp Win7 and OSX SL but I am not sure which processors work best for a hackintosh. Question 2> What is i5 vs Core 2 Duo and what is Dual Core? I am lost with the processors and need to know which will be powerful for gaming, video editing and graphic editing along with web design. Which processor can be used with ease of install? After this, I can start to look at boards, but I want a board released in the last 4 months to ensure the system is as advanced as I can get under the price I am looking for.
