(XS)s0lid
I'm having some problem with installing Debian to PowerMac G4 400Mhz "Gigabit" system. OPF (Open Firmware) thinks that my CD drive is a HDD, an exsample, i've my HDD in UATA port where it should be, and CD drive in secondary ide port, well now it doesn't regocnise cd drive at all. Now i take CD drive to UATA, and put HDD into Promise ide controller. Well i can boot Linux installer from OPF with boot HD:,\install\yaboot and install it to hdd on Promise controller tho now it doesn't wanna boot so: yea i'm new with Mac HW.
