Hi everyone .

Finally I got my USB to boot up on my Dell 755 , long story

I got DMOS into Extra folder and FAKE SMC

With or without them ...

I got hang waiting for DMOS with -v -x32

but then

I got DMOS has arrived in just -v mode ( this will hang at CPU something not emulate problem )

can anyone tell me where should I put the DMOS file in ?

currently It's in the INSTALL(USB) \Extra folder

thank you

What boot loader you using, what extra kexts do you have installed?

I've have a vanilla setup on a 755 working and although I saw waiting for DSMOS initially after about 10 seconds the system continued to boot.

I installed Chameleon RC2 and I have the following extra kexts in S/L/E

PlatformUUID

fakesmc

OPenhaltrestart

NullCPUPowerManagement

The only thing I did different on this install was to install RC2 first on the target drive before installing the OS

WOW GRATE news ever

I use Chameleon RC2 too

I use USB method to install

Restore the USB from the DMG .

sudo fdisk -f boot0 -u -y /dev/rdisk2

sudo dd if=boot1h of=/dev/rdisk2s2

download netkas.org custom EFI bootloader then

sudo cp /Users/kaidogg/Desktop/boot /Volumes/HackintoshInstall

in the extra folder I got dsdt from a pachter from my current working 100% dell 755 leppard

i also got fakesmc too

is there something I did wrong or Missed ?

I even tried booting with

-v -x32 or -v -x64

-x32 I stoped at DMOS

perhapes BIOS setting ? hardware setup ? ... I did a restore to default in BIOS ... LPT and Comport are off

AHCI is on . no floopy ,.. no CDROM , only a HDD and USB thum drive are attatched

basically I follow this guild and changed his stuff to mine
