HI,

Just a quickie. In the past, when I've wanted to take a snapshot of something, the resulting pic has always appeared on the desktop. Today when I tried it it makes the snapshot noise but no pic appears! I can't see it in any of the main folders either, any ideas what's going on with this? I's like to set it back the way it was but don't know how!
I have 10.5.7 at the moment.

Ahhhhh, it's okay, just read THIS;

After a bit of playing around, here's your answer:
cmd-shift-3 takes the whole screen, svaes it to the desktop (Doesn't go to the clipboard)
cmd-shift-4 lets you select an area on the screen, and saves it.

cmd-ctrl-shift-3 takes the whole screen, and copies it to clipboard.
cmd-ctrl-shift-4 allows you to select an area on screen to copy to clipboard.


I was saving to the clipboard, so that solves that!
