sumpm1
I have tried installing several versions of OSX86 in the past on this system and haven't gotten far. I recently tried some newer distributions; iDeneb 1.5.1, iDeneb 1.6 Lite, and iPC 10.5.6. Of those 3 discs, I got iDeneb 1.6 to ACTUALLY get to the apple installation screen. I have 2 IDE hard drives, a 320GB Seagate, and a WD Caviar 160GB. I can load iDeneb 1.6 disc fine with my 320GB Seagate, but when I try to install with the WD 160GB, the disc just says "system config file 'com.apple.Boot.Slist' not found." Strange how both drives are IDE and one causes problems, and the other doesn't. What could cause this and how could I fix it? PS. I am still a newbie to installing this stuff, so I could use some tips or links to a guide taht would help me find the correct stuff for my hardware. I have a Gigabyte board wih NForce chipset and onboard Nvidia graphics. I would like to learn how to go about finding my hardware device information and looking for support. Thanks.
