kidnexus
I know I should probably go 3GS over 3G, but... 3GS (16gb) is $199 with new contract 3G (16gb refurbished) is only $99 with new contract the only thing appealing to me about the 3GS is the cpu speed increase. could care less about the video camera. i'm the type of person that doesnt usually spend much on a phone in the first place. don't think ive ever spent more than $50 on a phone. plus i'm on a fairly limited budget these days. so try not to jump out and automatically recommend the 3GS without thinking this over. MAIN QUESTION- if i get the 3G, will it be a mainstay in the app department? i dont want to get the 3G and then all the developers make all the new apps for 3GS and be stuck with it while i'm on a 2 year contract. just wanted to get people's opinions on it's sustainability over next year or so. i do plan on playing quite a few games on it as well. does anyone have any experience with games that run too slow on 3G, or any that greatly benefit from 3GS? Marclh
Get the 3GS, it has more RAM and a faster CPU, also applications crash less frequently due to the increased RAM. You want the most recent model too, so you're not stuck if/when the 3G can't support some things.
