Last fish to fry with this notebook and snow leopard. EFI strings give you resolution change but no QE/CI. Old nvkush kext only works in 32bit mode. NVinject 64 bit is a no go as well. This is for the nvidia quadro nvs 120M or basically 7400Go

don´t know if this works with nvs120, too.

but for me, my nvs140 works ootb with this in com.apple.boot.plist:

<key>Kernel Flags</key>

<string>GraphicsEnabler=Yes</string>

i don´t use nvkush or natit.

Can boot in 32 or 64 bit, all fine

Got ya, you must be using rc3 for your bootloader? I'll give it a shot here in a second

*edit* nah, no dice. your card is based off the 8 series ones so that could be the reason.

I'm using my nvkush that i was using in leopard, it works perfectly fine. I have sleep, shutdown, and restart working. Only in 32 bit mode however, i just threw -x32 in the boot.plist. All is fine, i doubt booting with 64bit extensions is gonna make much difference on this notebook anyway.

No, don´t work, same like 10.5.8...

Have to push down the power button for 5 sec.

Ok, that´s fine...

Think there´s no need to boot in 64bit mode. It´s just funny, but make no sense this time.

64Bit mode isn´t active on Apple Hardware also, it´s only for Server right now. Let´s wait for better support.

Hi there!

I have a 7400 Go in 64bit Mode working with the Silent Natit you can get here:

Resolution Change Qe/CI, everything works, just remember to remove all other injectors, EfiStrings etc.

(doesn't work from Extra/Extensions Folder, place it in /S/L/E )

cheers,

Uwe!

My shutdown restart problems started when I added this flag. Now, in spite of having openhaltrestart.kext, I cannot shutdown / reboot or hibernate. Sleep (suspend to ram) works fine.
