After long strugle I managed to upgrade my 10.5 to Snow Leopard on Asus F3Sc. But Login window is all I get - my PS/2 keyboard does not work.

I've already tride something like dozen different kexts - VoodooPS2, ApplePS2, PS2Nub, in both /System/Library/Extensions and /Extra/Extensions - but none of them worked.

Does any of you have some solution for me? That's really annoying that osx86 world still didn't managed to solve basic keyboard problem.

I still didn't get the issue. VoodooPS2Controller (all compiled versions I found on net) hardly ever loads on my snow leopard and I have no idea why. No I am using leopard 32-bit orginal VoodooPS2Controller and everythings work, but this means my snow leopard works only under 32-bit kernel.

Does any of you have sourcecode of VooodooPS2Controller 64-bit?

Sometimes I think hardware is the solution, and not software, as in this case.

For KVM switches I use Tripp-Lite's USB to PS/2 converter model B015-000

You plug your PS/2 keyboard and mouse into it, it plugs into a USB port. Works flawlessly every time!

(To clarify, you don't need to use these gadgets with KVM switches - just plug it into your Mac, or your Hack, and it flies in the face of PS/2 incompatibility, no restart needed)

They're also not too expensive if you search online for a good deal.

:P

Nice tip... Since Snow install have only been able to get the PS2 keyboard to work so have extra mouse. Both Amazon and Newegg have this model for reasonable price and in both cases reviews are perfect scores.

Thanks
