iampivot Posted September 24, 2009 Share Posted September 24, 2009 I'm having problems getting a WL-138g v2 to work on a DG31PR with an ATI 4850. The IO802Family kext is loaded, as is AppleAirportBrcm4311 kext, however no network interface is created. There's no error entries in the console, not any airport menu, or any airport entries in the network preferences. I'm at a loss as to where I should start looking. Google finds none with similar problems. I've also tried swapping the card for an identical one, with no luck. Any ideas? Edit: have tried both native install with boot 132, and leo xxx 10.5.6. Have tried with and without the nvidia card installed, and also swapped the pci card to the second pci slot. SOLVED! I disabled HPET in the BIOS (under chipset settings, called HPT).
