Never Say Never
I'm currently using the on-board sound on my motherboard, but I'm thinking about possibly upgrading to a better sound card. I'm preferably looking for something that would be natively compatible with OS X without any hacks or patches. That said, I've been considering a USB sound card, but I was wondering if anybody knew if they are any good, and would they be better than the current on-board sound on my motherboard? This particular card looked interesting and claims to be compatible with Mac OS, so I would think it should work fine, but would this produce better sound than the built in on-board sound? 7.1 USB Sound Card Here are a couple of other USB sound cards that I'm looking at: Syba 7.1 Channel USB Sound Card SIIG USB Soundwave 7.1 Channel I'm also open to any suggestions on quality USB sound cards or whether or not it's even worth it.
