LouCioccio Posted October 7, 2013 Share Posted October 7, 2013 To NoSmokingBandit, I have a EP45UD3L its running 10.8.5 (supplemental) I was always having a rough time to get sound to work. I ended up using an old Griffin USB sound device that worked but could never get the proper kext to work. All the other hacks with Gigabyte board had the the 889 sound and that was relatively easy to get them to work even with digital audio. But the above board gave me fits. I jus happen to do another search and lo and behold I asked the right question. Even though it was 10.6 I said what the heck lets try it.
