Hello Again.

Firstly, allow me to apologise if I have posted in the wrong section. I did search but returned no results for my primary motherboard.

Secondly, I've been a bit inactive as of late, which Im sure is good to some (the people who get tired of answering noobish questions) and disappointing to others (the people who helped me; hoping I in turn, could help others). I apologise profusley to the latter.

On to the point; I had leo4all 3.1 installed and running nicely (other than the annoying system clock reset between windows vista and leopard), thanks to the contributions and help from many people on this forum. Thanks again.

Unfortunately, I have bought a new rig and fully removed the dual boot and am now having install issues that I never encountered before (possibly due to a quad core amd vs dual core amd).

Basically, the point of me being here now is to ask you a few things:

One which rig should I install? My preference is to install to the new rig, but caution states I should install to the older one...

Old Rig:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3.15Ghz

2GB 800mhz DDR2

Sata 2 - Slot 0 80GB (C:\)

Ide - Slot 1 155GB (D:\)

Ide Partition 2 30.9GB (E:\)

No cd / dvd drive

New Rig:

Please see signature.

What you think I should install; snow or original leopard?

Which program (bootthink, boot132, leo4all, chameleon vX.x, etc) do you think would give me the simplest install that coincides with win7? (and Win7's ridiculous "system reserved" drive, storing the bootloader)

Can any of you foresee any issues with my hardware? I believe that the lan will work OOB for my new rig.

Can any of you direct me to a noob-friendly (hell, I'll take an idiot version) install guide for a good program?

Offtopic: After my last experiences with osx86, I did go out and buy a mac. Unfortunately, its an older version (pre- built in camera) G5 with a ... sigh ... powerpc core. So its slow, no matter what I do, and is basically dead hardware now. So why not have a super powered mac on my pc instead?

Edit: Here's what I've tried so far on my primary machine...

Leo4all v4 will boot all the way in if I just press "any key", but I have no mouse or keyboard at the choose language screen.

If I try to boot with -s, it seems to hang on the OSOwner section.

Leo4all v3 (the one I had success with, before) will not boot no matter the flags- has about 3 seconds of loading screen text (text flies by), then the pc reboots.

Bootthink - took me a little while to realize that the files would have to be in *system reserved*, not C... once into the fancy looking bootloader, I only see the option for win7; not sure where in the process the os is supposed to get installed.

Chameleon - Have a few versions, but this doesnt seem to be as noob friendly.

And Finally, I have seen that some people say you need a mac running leopard so you can pull some files. I have a mac, and am able to get any of the files needed.

Thank you for your time, and I appreciate any assistance you can offer.
