Hi everyone.

Now I crossed into a problem when I installed iphone sdk 3.1.

I installed Jas version 10.5.2 leopard on thinkpad R61. Also I download" iphone_sdk_3.1_with_xcode_3.1_final__leopard__9m2809.dmg" from apple site.

But when I installed this dmg file, it poped up a message "The following disk images failed to mount error 4960".

So I googled many sites, it said I need to update leopard to 10.5.3. Just now, I used "JaS OsX86 10.5.3 Intel SSE3 Combo Update + SMB Fix.zip" to update leopard to 10.5.3.

BUT BUT BUT when I install iphone dmg file, it poped up a message "The following disk images failed to mount".

Oh NO!!!!

I googled many sites again. BUT NO solution.

NOW, I'm going to crazy.

Can any one tell me how should I do.

Forgive my poor english.

Thanks for reading.

By the way, I have downloaded the iphone sdk two times. BUT it still doesn't work.

I found this site http://www.imventurer.com/2008/03/23/iphon...to-mount-error/

"IPhone SDK failed to mount error

As you already know, Apple has released Iphone SDK earlier this month. It is available for free download at http://adcdownload.apple.com/iphone/iphone.../iphone_sdk.dmg but it seems that many users are having trouble mounting the dmg disk image after download. It just says ‘failed to mount’. After redownloading the same error persists. Apparently there is a cached version of the 2.1GB file that is corrupted, and if you’re outside the US, it’s most likely that you will be affected by this error. The temp solution is to download the same file from torrent: http://thepiratebay.org/tor/4066811/iPhone_SDK

EDIT: Apparently, the new revised SDK is now available for download from Apple, so hopefully the case is closed."

Is this the reason?

I came from China.
