EatMoreHippo Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 Whenever I try to boot windows xp (for installation purposes from a legit disc) from bootcamp it gets to the start up screen and keeps playing the startup noise over and over again. When I try to boot by holding alt at startup it isn't an option. When I try to boot it from rEFit I come to a black screen with a blinking cursor in the top left and nothing else. I'm using a external usb cd drive that should work. Is there any way though to get past the problems I've run across though? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
