plainlyinsanely Posted September 20, 2009 Share Posted September 20, 2009 I'm running a PB 1.67 OSX 10.4.11 and i may have messed up a usb driver (kext). Because i have a PC card for wireless that works in the card slot flawlessly, but when i put in the PCMCIA card for USB it doesn't recognize any drives. In system Profiler it sees that a cardbus is attached and i have the supplied USB support drivers installed. Keep in mind one of my USB PCMCIA cards has a light on it that is not coming on, yet the card shows in sys prof. Is there a special driver that i need to re-install? Any ideas anyone? Never mind. Turns out my small pen drive was the actual issue. Funny how an issue like the small light on the card can make a small issue into something major! (so I thought).
