join join Posted September 23, 2009 Share Posted September 23, 2009 Hi, VoodooHDA works with this chip. I'm using it at this very moment. The only issues are little bugs & glitches and the unability to automatically switch between headphones and internal speakers. As far as I remember, I never managed to get that chip working perfectly even with Leopard, where I had a AppleHDA for it, but the sound was horrible with internal speakers, like if the sound was bandpassed and distorted.
