Hi to all,

Hi, Thanks a lot for info. I've done SL installation from Leo to separated hard disk. I've compiled dsdt.dsl and have installed this with smbios.plist file to /Extra/ (sure I've set owner and permittions). But on boot I get an issue:

ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::pushCPU_CSTData - _CST evaluation failed

Have you faced with this issue?

Please advice - how can I detect the issue and debug one.

Thanks.

For those who still need a tutorial, I had good luck with using the "[TOTALLY VANILLA] Retail Snow Leopard" guide:

http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...183751&st=0

Skip the dsdt step since quinielascom has so helpfully provided one plus the iaslme to make it into a dsdt.aml file. ;) Take all of the other kexts and add them into the kext folder when prompted by the guide.

When you get to phase 3 take your dsdt.aml and put it in your Extras folder sometime before step 4 and you should be good!

[edit: forgot to mention that I didn't know what to do with the BIOS SLIC file so I didn't use it]

Can someone help me to get my sound working? I have tried all different combinations of KEXTs but I can not get it to work. What should I do? Other than that it seems to work really good :-)

VoodooHDA.kext or AppleHDA.kext works fine, but you need to put it in System/Library/Extensions.

someone has the spdif out working? In my system don't work correcly ;)

With the integrated GMA950 graphics I can only get the resolution 1024x768 to work. How can I get other resolutions to work? Do I need a special KEXT for this to work? In the current setup I have I can choose which resolution I want.

Thankful for any suggestions

I'm having problems with integrated Ethernet card. I can't get IP address from DHCP. Does anyone else having this problem?

I guess that this card should work OOB, but that is not the case here. I have tested it with Knoppix and in Knoppix everything works (DHCP, and manual setup), while in OSX 10.6.0 and 10.6.4 I see card in Network preferences, but I allways get Self assigned IP.
