Can we have an AppleScript forum?

Most issues with a Mac from "I don't want this to show up" to "I need Safari to do this" to "I want Word to become a one line command line like interface" can be done via an AppleScript (and yes, that last one can be done that way).

If we had an Applescript forum, we could post some major time saving scripts (cut/paste like) that would save everyone time and headaches.

So can we PLEASE have an AppleScript forum?

Great idea. We have the potential for any forum you'd like. :tomato:

What does everyone think? Would there be sufficient demand for an AppleScript forum (or probably a subforum)?

While we're talking about this kind of streamlining thing, it seems logical to also discuss something like Automator which does some of the same tasks without the CLI.

How would an "AppleScript and Automator" subforum sound? Now would be the perfect time to put it in place, since we've got a major forum reorganization scheduled for this month.

Your wish is my command. Here's the new "AppleScript and Automator" forum!

If you guys would go ahead and post in that forum, I'd appreciate it (since, after all, you did ask for it.) :(

Also, for info on the new forum structure, go here:
