Hi,

after a couple of hours I found the right combination of everything to get analog and SPDIF output on my DQ6 Board (I think it's rev. 2.0 but not very sure)...

First of all backup all your kexts and delete the AppleHDA, AppleAzalia..., AZLInject, AC97 and maybe another one...

Than download the Pakage - install the 3 blue marked kexts (HDAEnbler.kext, AppleHDA.kext and LegacyHDA.kext) with e.g. kext helper.

Reboot

Drag ALC888-b.txt on top of AppleHDAPatcher - wait - reboot...

Sound should work fine on Digital and Analog (front & back inc. mic)

The Used kexts are all SL ready btw.

Sure here you go...dsdt.aml.zip

Unforunatly I am not able to get Sound running on my 10.6 Installation but I started that project yesterday ;-)

Hello

I don't have the same motherboard but the Audio chipset is the same

(ACL 889A GA-P35C-DSR3)

The sound is functional with HDAEnabler.kext and LegacyHDA.kext.

Unfortunatly, the SPDIF doesn't works with Snow Leopard (10.6.2)

Could you test with it because I can just do a test with a optical cable and not with a SPDIF ?

Thks

Quentin
