megavolkan Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 Hi, sometimes when i try to shutdown the computer, it gives a kernel panic after it quits all left open apps. Then i realize it does this only after about 10 or 15 minutes of use, which means probably when my other hdds are put to sleep. from Energy Saver settings, i've disabled hard disk seleeping but i have an external usb drive which i use for time machine backups and i can't prevent it to put itself to sleep after a while.
