macdan Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 Ok, I've made an partition that is bootable to install Snow Leopard with. But there is only one thing, my keyboard does not work. I working witk an laptop. I installed VoodooPS2Controller.kext in the extra folder on the root, but no go. I can use the usb mouse, but when i shall boot in mine installed Snow Leopard partition i will have probably the same problem. Can somebody advice? srs5694 Posted September 15, 2009 Share Posted September 15, 2009 First, check any BIOS options related to your keyboard and to USB devices. You may need to fiddle with them. For instance, on one of my systems (a desktop system, but the principle's the same), I needed to disable legacy USB support (to let USB keyboards look like PS/2 keyboards to pre-USB OSes) in the BIOS to get a standard PS/2 keyboard to work under OS X. Second, you could try installing with the help of a USB keyboard. That should at least let you get the full OS up and running, at which point debugging and fixing problems should be easier than trying to do it during the installation.
