In attempts to locate a resource which allows me to use my intel pro wireless card within Leopard 10.5.6, it is not possible. However, this site is selling laptops with Snow Leopard which supports Intel Pro Wireless 3945abg.

Could someone confirm that Intel Pro Wireless 3945abg does work out of the box with standard Snow Leopard installation?

Thank you :-)

Dude, I looked at this, and yes this laptop does run 3945abg, but it's not running Snow Leopard; it's actually called Snow Leopard, as in the model of this computer is Snow Leopard 6220, and it runs Windows. I think I am just going to replace my nic.

..and that info was from 'October 9th, 2006' hehe

and i agree, swapping out the nic is definitely the best option.. 1390 or 1490 seems to be working good. and its only $12-15 shipped on ebay. i am waiting on the postman to deliver mine today. and the replacement itself is a piece of cake :D

You are miss-reading it!!...

"The new SL2 notebook weights around 2.8 pounds and comes with Microsoft Windows XP Home preinstalled." The 'SL' bit is a sales gimmick to fool you. Why don't people read stuff through properly??! Shhhheshhh!
