onetwothree Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 I am trying to install snow leopard on my lenovo w500 from a usb boot drive. brand new laptop, 2.8 ghz processor dual core, 4 gb ram, 64 bit capable. everything should work fine, and did, right up to the point where i booted from the thumb drive. it started up, allowed me to choose the drive to boot from, then gave me a grey screen with an apple logo and the little spinning wheel animation. a few minutes of this, and it asked me to restart. i restarted, and the same thing happened. any suggestions?
