aylamrin
On my Core Duo 2006 MBP, I have done a clean install, i.e. format the disk and then install the OS using only the retail DL-DVD. But I am trying to do the same on my Hackint0sh, but it wont let me partition the disk and the Disk utility is giving me spinning wheel. I am using a DG33FB mobo (ICH 9( R)) that successfully ran 10.5.6 . Now in the Chameleon Boot disk I have used AppleIntelPIIXATA, AppleVIAATA, with proper dev ids in Info.plist. In the Chameleon boot menu, I have even tried "Ignore Caches" as a "just in case" . Does anybody know what is going on over here? TIA... P.S. : Oh the retail disk was 7.16 GB one complete with Boot Camp drivers and all . The hard disk(s) in question are: 1. 160 GB Seagate SATA II 2. 80 GB WD SATA II . I have a dsdt.aml (from pcwiz's patcher) in the Chameleon disc as well as a EFI stringed com.apple.boot.plist with i386 kernel flag. Please help !!!
