mitch_de
Same as 10.6. OpenGL is slow! slow! and very slow! ????? Not in my case ! Doent use XBench - use OpenGLExtensionsViewer for OpenGL speed compares. Xbench is extreme old and didnt use any OpenGL feature over OpenGL 1.1 (we have now 3.0, most gpus 2008+ have at least 2.1 features 100%).

Don't know if 6.1 improves it, but it contains new video drivers. http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=arti...marks&num=

I sent a bugreport to apple but no answer. I'm pretty sure, they know about the problem!

paduck
Just to pile on, downloaded and worked fine for me. This thing weighed in at 9.8MB, which probably makes it the smallest Mac OS X update ever. Plus, the software has only been out for about three weeks, so how many bug fixes could they have accumulated.
DocShadow
A OK here. Hope it fixes a SMTP problem on my wife's REAL Mac.
tbar
Other than having to delete the ATIRadeon2000.kext and ATI3800Controller.kext files to avoid hang at boot all went smoothly. I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 3870 512 GPU and if anyone else that's using this card has found a way to boot in 10.6 without deleting these files or use dual monitors or even be able to switch resolution in System Preferences please PM me. PS my Geekbench score went from 3780 to 4250 after the update.
