Sanwal Posted September 9, 2009 Share Posted September 9, 2009 I installed a hackintosh on a Sony VAIO PCG-K415B. It's got the following specifications: 3.06 Intel Mobile Processor 512 MB RAM Radeon IGM 345M Graphic Chip (128MB) Atheros Wifi Adapter I installed leopard using iAtkos v7i, and in the end it says Install successful, restart. I restart it, it doesn't get beyond the apple screen. I restart using "-v" and It does not go beyond the following message: "MAC framework successfully initialized 1966 Buffer headers 1966 clusters IO Buffer headers" That's it. When I was installing it, I formatted the hard disk as GUID, and there was just one partition. Please guys, I am intensely excited about trying out a Mac. I have 13 different distro's (Only iAtkos 7i worked fully). Please help me get past this message. Can I even get beyond this point? I read somewhere about an error of this sort (only the values were different) and it said that I have to use the 10.4.8 ACPI file, but I really don't know where to get that file, and I really don't know how to install it.
