Tiburon
I finally decided to get a Mac, I was originally thinking a mac mini (I posted a few days before), but I decided to go with an iMac. So I ordered it earlier today. The only question I have is there anything I should look out for or are there any tips for things I should know about? 2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB 250GB Serial ATA drive ATI Radeon X1600/256MB VRAM SuperDrive 8x (DVD+R DL/DVD+RW/CD-RW) Keyboard & Mighty Mouse + Mac OS X - U.S. English Accessory kit AppleCare Protection Plan for iMac - Auto-enroll 20-inch widescreen LCD 2GHz Intel Core Duo AirPort Extreme Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR Memory

Tiburon
I heard some things about the screens having problems (lines/artifacts) after sleep, so I hope I don't have that problem. Does anyone know what the "Country Kit" is, everything else matches up from the original confirmation to the actual status screen except that. So I would assume it matches with the "Accessory Kit" Any ideas?

karlac
When I got my IMac last week mine was listed with the country kit and I'm in Kentucky. I've never had a Mac before so I wouldn't know what to look for in the packaging.
Tiburon
Would you suggest waiting a while or updating to the latest firmware/os version as soon as i get it?
A Nonny Moose
Always wait at least 48 hours before installing ANY update. It could wind up seriously screwing things up. Of course, this is true for updates coming from any company, Microsoft and 3rd party vendors included.
