flyguyjake
Hey guys, Anyone got a fix for this? Look for this line in your System Profiler>Logs>Kernel.log. This is also chewing up about 5 seconds of boot time! Warning - com.apple.driver.InternalModemSupport declares no kernel dependencies; using com.apple.kernel.6.0. Please help! 11/16/2009 - 1) Copy/Paste IOSerialFamily.kext to your desktop. 2) Right click, Show package contents, Contents, Plugins (delete InternalModemSupport.kext) 3) Then using kexthelper re-install IOSerialFamily.kext to your S/L/E 4) Repair permissions and restart. Viola! No more error!

flyguyjake
Common guys ... almost 300 views and no answers? Removing the kext only causes further system.log errors. That's not the answer. Anyone?
