Editing AppleHDA.kext for alc888

Hi Guys

 

I have a difficulty in getting sound.

 

I downloaded edited AppleHDA.kext for ALC888, LP.

 

Well, it worked good, but it doesn't work Headphone at ext Front.

 

So, I would like to edit AppleHDA.kext about Headphone.

 

 

 

How to edit or patch AppleHDA.kext for ALC888?

You may be able to simple go into System Preferences and select Headphones for output.

 

If not, write back and I'll post my kexts.

I tryed that, it displayed on System Info.

 

but it disappears on sound panel for output.

I'd love to get Optical out working with DTS passthrough working on the ALC1200 (ALC888).....dacheat do you have optical 5.1 working on your edited AppleHDA.kext?

To be clear.. I found these kexts whilst spending entirely too much time this weekend getting SL to work. Credit should go to the guys who compiled them.
