I've looked high and low, and have somehow missed an important bit of information...

1) installed retail 10.5.4 on my ASUS P5Q-EM with GUID. That went fine.

2) updated to 10.5.6. Also went fine.

3) installed Chameleon 2.0-rc2-r640. Also went fine.

4) put the required kexts into Extra/Extensions. Rebooted (using Chameleon) with -v -f, everything went fine.

5) rebooted using the default kernel flags (like, none)...system loads fine, didn't pick up some of the kexts I put in /Extra/Extensions

6) rebooted again with -f, got love.

7) rebooted again, repeated step 5) experience.

What am I missing? I must have to do something else...do I need to bundle the kexts into their own Extensions.mkext? Tried that; no love on boot (perhaps missed some steps?)

thanks for your help in advance...
