non sequitur
You bastards! i said it before and i will say it again, xp or vista for that matter should never be preinstalled on a mac.
Takuro
I think prebundled means an XP installation CD is included for those who want to dual boot. It doesn't mean they installed XP over OS X necessarily. I think it's actually a smart idea to create some sort of combo package for those who are a little nervous about switching to Mac. Tons have only now bought Apple computers because of the fact that they can now run Windows, only to wind up using OS X as their main OS anyway. Why not give a bundle with XP at a discount price to those who need an extra shove of confidence? It might just be the extra push needed to move some people to Apple. Smart move. A Nonny Moose
I don't why MacMall is doing this using BETA software (remember, kids, BootCamp isn't a final product yet).
darcagn
I went to CompUSA yesterday, and they had signs up advertising $300 for an installed copy of Windows XP Pro on your Intel Mac via Boot Camp.

I saw that too. You can do it yourself for less than that. They're trying to rip you off.
