snifferpro
I followed a thred on the forum to install SL from a USB drive. The Install went ok as I got to the Restart screen. Instead of restarting and booting into my new SL I wanted to put Chameleon on my new SL drive so I booted into my working Leopard 10.5.8. I then cranked up Chameleon and tried to install it to my new SL drive. It says "Installing Core" and "Writing Package Receipt" and goes no further. I have to Force Quit it. Any ideas? snifferpro
i install chameleon 2 rc1 before SNOW try it, this is my solution. That's exactly what I did. I reformatted the drive, installed Chameleon, then installed SL. It boots now, but I get the following error.

bazi2all
Uh... mmm why dont you download chameleon 2.0rc3 and problem solved.... The problem is NOT solved. I tried it many times and always got stuck at this stage. Tried to Google for the solution but did not find much information. Finally, like previous posters, my solution is to install Chameleon when the drive is empty.
