bmttinman
I have almost got Snow Leopard install on EP45T-UD3P with ATI 4850 on separate hard drive using the video “Retail Snow Leopard install to gigabyte ep45-ds3r” on http://osx86install.com/ except I can’t get it to boot. Have reinstalled three times but I can’t get the Extra file kext right. I have used ever kext I can find on line but to no avail. It goes threw boot but goes into panic at the last. As it boots it shows that JMicon has not booted. Has anyone got the kext that I should have for this board? Please!!! Update Oct 3 2009 Still can't get running. Have tried every web site and post. Have tried ever kext pack that I can find. Have tried several times to get thumb-drive to make startup disk as to Lifehacker site and varies postings on this site. I can get boot loader to work on standard drives but when I try to install Snow leopard disk it goes so far locks up then have to reboot. When reboot starts it reset bois to default and have to redo bois.

Try the ProjectSnow guide as it is explicitly for the EP45T-UD3P.
