scorcho
Just FYI for those looking for a Snow Leopard compatible version of Parallels - the latest 5 beta will give you kernel panics anytime you use more than 2gb of memory on your host OS, even when you're not running the program. Looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer for SL-safe virtualization software...
macwanabe
Works fine on my system with 4 GB allocated to the VM and running Syntheyes using 3.2 gigs of ram. Using Windows 7 64 in VM.

Using Windows 7 64 in VM.Odd - I got kernel panics whenever I hit past the half way point in my 4gb system - either in Parallels, Photoshop or using synthetic RAM tests. the only fix was completely uninstalling Parallels, which stopped all the kernel panics. pbaum321
I am running Parallels build 4.0.3.3846 booting Snow Leopard with the 64 bit kernel and have no problems at all. This is on a Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3R with 4 GB of memory
The Edge3000
Version 5 works fine for me - 64 Bit Snow, 32 bit Windows, 4 gigs RAM. But I must say - Parallels 5 is AMAZING. Full Aero support - Windows Experience Index gave it a 5.2!! (Lowest being graphics)

Especially graphic performance... I have to try to uninstall it to see if it fix the problem...
