vbxeric Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 Hi i can boot my installation of snow leopard with these kext : AppleIntelPIIATA Fakesmc JmicronATA NullCPUPowerManagement OpenHaltRestart PlatformUUID SleepEnabler I have a p5K and a 8800GTS 512Mo The system boot only by using -x flag i can run the os about 1 mn and a KP happens never for the same reason. One was Safari, another IOHIDFamily.... I don't know what can i do to fix that issue. Need some help please Thx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
afiser Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 repair permissions as soon as it boots. should fix the problem. this is a side effect of using leopard or similar and installing via the OSInstall.mpkg. a way around this is to restore the dvd to a partition and boot that partition and use it to install.
