HI everyone,

simply the thing is:
Installation dvd is a patched 10.4.5
MainBoard an Asus PC5VD1-X

During installation mouse and keyboard work as they should;
After the reboot mouse doesn't work, there is a message referring to:
System/Libraary/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext whit problems and needing to reinstalled

I add:
- there is no difference in using: Mouse/Keyboard PS2
- there is no difference in using Mouse/Keyboard USB (taken from an original Mac)
- there is no difference in using Mouse USB / Keyboard PS2
- even an USB Wacom Tablet failet in driving the mouse pointer
- I'tried to replace the kext whit some coming from a 10.4.3 but nothing (I've done it via XP-MacDrive)

Can anyone help me?
Thanx!

boot on safe mode. The mouse and keb must work
change permisions to kext drivers for keyb and mouse

"sudo chown -R root:wheel /path/to/file/driver.kext"

work for me.
