STATED Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 hello, first of all excuse my English, well, after a night which I thought was going to be longer I could install without any problem snow leopard retail on my pc .. I tell them that runs perfect, everything to 64 bits, is super fast, early gave me errors on the display screen showed no qe / ci .. but then I could fix it with nozzles (not because they normally ran from DSDT) nor the sound is more difficult to achieve considering that in leopard was a total torture to find a kext that worked, integrated audio is not nothing "common "in fact is a CMI8738 is a separate audio card .. but I need more than anything because I use all the exits, in 10.5.8 it worked perfect .. but can not get in snowcat work ... please if someone can compile it, make a DSDT fix or whatever to run in snow leopard succeed I'll be eternally grateful here is the kext that used in 10.5.8 to see if anyone is encouraged ... thanks CMI8738PCIAudioDriver.kext.zip Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

richrard Posted November 14, 2010 Share Posted November 14, 2010 Thanks for that kext, I was looking everywhere for it, brought me up to a perfect installation. It is working for me under 10.6.3, stereo. Is it not working at all for you or do you two? I can only test stereo at the moment, but it's running great.
