Guest hacker2021 Posted September 3, 2009 Share Posted September 3, 2009 Hey guys, I didn't really expect to post with my problem, but I'm really out of ideas. I guess I should start out with my motherboard: It's the Intel DG965OT and I have Kalyway 10.5.2 installed and upgraded to 10.5.4 perfectly. Hell, after much trouble, I patched up my network device perfectly! It's the damned sound tho that's not working. The full deal behind it that I found with my motherboard documentation: Intel 82801HH ICH8DH, and the audio codec is the Sigmatel STAC9271D. I'm not even sure how to get the sound to work anymore, I've taken my Linux codec dump file and patched it with Taruga's AppleHDA patcher. But no luck. I've tried some other .kexts with no luck either. I need a try the "stac9271d_0x83847627_testing.zip", but there's no download link on Taruga's thread.
