chicagofilms Posted September 1, 2009 Share Posted September 1, 2009 Now that SL is out and people are playing with it, is it possible to get 5.1 sound working? Does anyone know of a tool to allow or configure this? I have a EP45-UD3r and seem to have all the outputs working and listed in system preferences but they are all just separate outputs. I have to pick one for sound to come from. I never really messed with this in Leo, but since I've put so much work into getting SL working I want to get EVERYTHING working if possible. I know in general iMacs, etc only use stereo outs, but I've never tried the digital outs on a MacPro. If those use 5.1, it should be possible to get 5.1 on analog outs I would imagine.
