superfaen
I have a strange problem that I really don't find a plausible explanation for. i have three physical disks in my machine, one is 10.5.8 which boots from the efi partition, the other two are 10.6.0 which boots with Chameleon + PC EFI. I use one SL for testing and one for daily use. I have Chameleon installed on both Snow disks. 10.5.8 is about to be deleted. Now I'm trying to get sleep to work with sleepenabler.kext etc. I haven't had any success yet, but that's not important. The problem is that when I put one of the 10.6.0. disks to sleep it won't wake up. Ok. I restart the computer with the power button. Chameleon loads, I select the disk and the apple logo shows. And it just stops. I try again with the other SL install (with a separate chameleon install) and the same things happens. This is on a completely different disk. I then try to boot the disk with Leopard and it works flawless. I restart and I can boot both SL installs, and everything is back to normal. So the problem is that if I try to put my SL to sleep I will need to boot Leopard to get back into SL. I have repeated this many times, the same thing happens. Now I don't see the connection between these installs. As I press F8 to select which disk to boot. I can't really understand where these installs are connected to each other. Anyone who can cast some light on this?
