weewoot Posted August 31, 2009 Share Posted August 31, 2009 Hello, i have discovered this website and OSx86. I have been trying to dual boot it for about a week now with no success. I have 2 HDDs in a raid 0 for windows, and a spare 500gb HDD with ubuntu on it. I would like to install osx86 on the HDD with ubuntu on it, but i am running into trouble. When i insert my Iatkos v7 boots up then at the apple logo it shows an X. (kind of like the no smoking symbol) SO i tried to boot up using -v cpus = 1 maxmem = 2048 but i get a wall of text then still waiting for root device. My pc specs are 3 500gb sata (2 in raid) 780i mobo intel 2.8ghz core duo 9800gt 4 gigs 1066 pny ram sata dvd drive ANY help is greatly apreciated thanks, -weewoot Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
