What PC manufacturer brand is your OS x86 system running on?

I'm curious over the systems used to run Mac OS x86. I'm no computer expert, but I tried to add as many manufacturer brands as I could remember. I myself am on a Dell E510.

I haven't purchased nor owned a prefab PC for about 8 years, and if I ever DO buy another manufacturer's computer, it'll most definately be an Apple

I voted HP, mine is an HP Pavilion ZD7000 laptop. Runs OSX nicely.

I built my own mean, lean, OSx86 running machine. It runs OSx86 flawlessly (exept for it not using EFI). My P4Dual-915GL is the best socket 478 mobo for OSx86.

My desktop PC was built by a small local company in my town. However over the years only the processor and the case are what's left from that original setup. The rest was replaced over time by myself. My laptop is from Acer. Both run OSx86. The desktop one is a bit more compatable, as the laptop still has some problems with Omni driver and sound

It's a Dell-laptop I got from my Company, and not a bad one! That's my problem. My girlfriend will kill me if I buy a MacBook Pro 17'' when I still have this very good Dell-Laptop.

Still waiting for CI and QE too, would hate to kill off X600 and run at 1024x768, to my eyes that looks lie 800 x800! (grin)

i've heard if you hack the kext to your device id and stuff you can get the 1280x1024 and ci and qe i heard that it's somewhere on this forum.

I always built my own the only prebuilt machines i would buy are Apples. The PPC systems had a great build quality with less flaws than their Intel counterpoints (think Powerbook vs Macbook Pro) hopefully this is just teething problems and will be rectified with later revisions.

Im actuailly running a compaq sr1650nx but at this point my osx86 crapped out because it doesnt see the SATA on my asus ati radeon xpress 200 chipset oh well, ill find a work around eventuially... but when I do get it running the AMD cpu should let me get decent performance (im never moving back to intel... NEVER!!! AHAHAHAHHA)

i use 1024*768 at 100 hz. samsung 757 magicbright 17 ich crt monitor.

apple keyboard and microsoft mouse.
