broadband_igloo
I have a similar problem, but I'm trying the IDE compatability mode. Switched sata to IDE in bios, and am using netkas IntelPIIXATA.kext, I get still waiting for root device. I had heard the AHCI drivers don't work too well with x58 boards yet. i 've installed snow on my system when ##### ,i have this message: SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully..... and a still waiting for boot device. it's like the ahci don't reconize by snow. i've try AHCIPortInjector.kext with ich10 dev id but the same. anyone know how to fix this. thanks
sensite
make sure that your sata drives for SL are not on ports 5 and 6 or the PIIXATA.kext won't pick them up I have a similar problem, but I'm trying the IDE compatability mode.
