ich10 problem

i 've installed snow on my system

when [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] ,i have this message: ;)

SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully

SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully

SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully.....

and a still waiting for boot device.

it's like the ahci don't reconize by snow.

i've try AHCIPortInjector.kext with ich10 dev id but the same.

anyone know how to fix this.

I have a similar problem, but I'm trying the IDE compatability mode. Switched sata to IDE in bios, and am using netkas IntelPIIXATA.kext, I get still waiting for root device. I had heard the AHCI drivers don't work too well with x58 boards yet.

make sure that your sata drives for SL are not on ports 5 and 6 or the PIIXATA.kext won't pick them up
