Apple released some sources of SnowLeopard OSX 10.6

Snow Leopard sources.

No XNU(kernel) sources this time.

Cmon Apple, dont play like in Tiger times, releasing kernel sources will not increase hackintoshes amount anyway.

At least there is sources of some kexts, for those who needs some kexts with fixes. /Netkas

Cool. Thanks for the heads-up!

BTW: Anyone knows which kext throws out this errors:

28.08.09 17:19:57	kernel	SerialATAPI device reconfiguration did not complete successfully. (failedCommandInfo = 0x1)

I would like to get this fixed, if i get the right sources.

is this going to hurt any (kernel/distro ) releases ? I havent followed this snowleopard release much .

No source = no Voodoo (based) kernel.

This means no stable SL on AMD and other unsupported CPUs until XNU source is available.

The Darwin Team is proud to announce the release of the Darwin open source components of Mac OS X 10.6 and Xcode 3.2. They are available at the usual location below. We are still processing some projects, and did not want to hold up the bulk of the release, so the following projects are coming later:

AppleUSBIrDA

CF (Lite)

autozone

clamav

xnu
