I've got nVidia and Intel running in my system and have 10.5.7 running via the iPC install and the iDeneb upgrade tools. What can I do to start an upgrade?

someone said you could just pop in a disc and let the upgrade just go....can i really do that?

I tried that with my copy. it started to install, then the screen went gray saying I needed to hold the power button...
I tried several times to get my 'Vanilla' iDeneb 10.5.7 (upgraded with Apple update to 10.5.8) to work by just 'poping in the DVD'.
Has anyone been able to use this method?
