geekdude Posted August 28, 2009 Share Posted August 28, 2009 so im trying to install osx in in vmware with the retail disk from my moms new imac. im not sure if this will work or not the tutorials are sketchy on this point. its in vmware player right now but it cant boot from the install disk. it says "operating system not found" it may just be able to see what xp sees which is the windows support that has bootcamp and the mac xp drivers. is there any way around this? do i need to burn an iso of the disk on my mac and transfer it over to the windows machene to get this to work?
