asher_ungar
Hi All, im writing from my Snow Leopard! i got a problem that i cant change my screen resolution to "1280x1024" - i have the EFI string in the com.apple.boot.plist file together with the kernel flags for "Graphics Mode" just the way it is on my 10.5.7. in system profiler i get the correct information on the Graphics card, but if i try changing the resolution under "System Preferences" i get a blue screen. any help? VultUx
Hi, I have the same card. This problem happen to my since Leopard and I never found a solution, you could try the screensaver fix (enable corner screensaver in expose) but it isnt really a fix... Ariel3d
The same thing happened to me, i even thought it was the video card that wasn't all that good, one day i managed to borrow a screen with an HDMI conector just to see if it worked, and guess what?it worked!i could change resolutions, change gamma settings and play fullscreen games, so if you wanna be able to change resolution, fullscreen games and change brightness/contrast/gamma settings, i would advised you to buy a screen with an hdmi connector, or an adapter so you can use your vga connector from the screen and plug it into the hdmi connector of your video card(i don't know if this could work though). My 2 cents
